Travis Webb, DPT - Licensed Physical Therapist

Q1) What led you to work in this field?
Ans)  I actually did not even know physical therapy was a thing until I needed one at the age of 24! Q2) Do you prefer staying up late or waking up early in the morning?
Ans)  Late all the way! So it’s been a bit tough getting used to a 7 a.m. start time, haha. I’ve always found that I get a “second wind” after 9 p.m. or so, and my wife usually goes to bed around that time, so it always worked out best for me to study or get work done later at night.

Ans)  - “Wandering but not Lost: A Tale by Travis Webb”
- My journey thus far has been pretty cattywampus, but my varied interests and experiences tie into each other better than they might seem at first glance. Q1) If you could have one superpower, what would it be?
Ans) If I could have any superpower, I would have to choose the ability to teleport to any desired destination. I considered super strength, mind reading and flying, but teleportation is definitely the best choice in my case. I absolutely love travelling, so if I had the chance to just suddenly appear in the canals of Venice, Italy then to the top of Paris' Eiffel Tower, my life would be made! Even though teleportation is not a superpower I could necessarily save the day with, I would love to just attain it for personal use. I mean think of all the money I would save on plane tickets! If I had this superpower I could accomplish so many things on my bucket list, like seeing the Great Wall of China, Aurora Borealis in Alaska, and seeing Shakira in concert. I like this superpower because no strings are attached with it.

Q2) Do you prefer staying up late or waking up early in the morning?

I always went to my Physical Therapist after these injuries. The first time I dislocated my right shoulder, my PT advised me to not play in my next tournament. Louela Fabionar - Physical Therapy Assistant

Q1) Do you prefer staying up late or waking up early in the morning?
Ans) Depends on what we’re doing, I like staying up late hanging out with my friends but if I need to be productive then waking up early in the morning is the move. Getting at least 8 hours of sleep every night is important for my well-being so I like to make plans according to my sleep schedule.

Q2) What led you to work in this field?
Ans) Human anatomy has always been a mystery to me and I have a passion for helping people in ways I know best. Physical therapy isn’t all about treating a single body part, it’s about learning what deficits or mal-alignment on biomechanics a person is performing in their daily lives that need adjusting to prevent them from continuing to hurt themselves. It’s rewarding to help someone rehab and return to their prior level of function after they’ve had an accident or trauma.

Q3) What animal do you believe most closely matches your personality and why?
Ans) I match a cat’s personality to the T because they can be chill and energetic at the same time. You can’t tell a cat to fetch a ball for you, they play with you on their own terms and conditions. I’m super cuddly if I’m comfortable with you and I’m very shy around people I don’t know, just like a cat!

Nick Boyer - Physical Therapist Assistant

Q1) Do you prefer staying up late or waking up early in the morning?
Ans) On days that I work, I prefer to get a good night's sleep, and wake up early in the morning so that I can have some time to wake up and get a good start to my day. I never wake up on busy days any later than an hour before I have to be out the door.

Q2) What led you to work in this field?
Ans) I was in and out of physical therapy so much as a kid with different breaks and injuries, I was already familiar with the field a good bit. The final nail in the coffin for me was when I tore my ACL in 2018, and had such a wonderful Rehab experience, I wanted to give back to the field and those around me.

Q3) Where are you from?
Ans) I was born here in the Valley on the Naval Air base, both of my parents were in the Navy, and I have lived here all my life, with no plans to leave anytime soon.

Q4) Tell me a fact that most people don't know about you
Ans) I've broken 89 total bones in my life, over the course of 12 separate injuries, with 3 surgeries, one of which resulted in a need to swap from being left handed to right handed. I have never played sports, and don't do anything reckless, I'm just that clumsy! So I know exactly where patients are coming from with our rehab experience, I've been through it more than most

Q5) What activities do you participate in over the weekend?
Ans) I frequently enter and run Video Game tournaments of all kinds.
